The MAIN EVENT - November

Greetings, people. THE MAIN EVENT is back once again offering more awesomeness for your pleasure.

Tuesday, October 26th we have a very special networking event featuring a few tasty morsels, such as a couple of great presentations (one online social platform and one video platform back from the dead!) as well as a sprinkling of short films and the first of many LIVE MUSIC performances, this one by the talented singer/guitarist CHRIS SAUNDERS!

THE MUSIC

Chris Saunders is an up & coming R&B artist. Born and raised in Manhattan from Jamaican/Scottish parentage, Chris grew up with heavy 60s R&B, reggae, and classic rock influences. He attended the United Nations School from K through 12th grade, having great exposure to all kinds of cultures and music.

Although basketball was his first love (he even played for the Jamaican National Basketball team in '04), music has been an underlying presence in his life since childhood. Heavily inspired to pick up guitar after listening to Eric Clapton, Chris dove into music towards the end of high school and throughout his time at Lafayette College. He learned mostly covers while at Lafayette and began writing in 2005.

After conquering the nerves of a first time performer, Chris started to play publicly in 2009. His first performance was an open mic session at The Shannon bar in Hoboken, NJ, followed by an impromptu gig in Halifax, UK.

By 2010, he had established himself in the NJ open mic circuit, transitioned to playing in NY, and now enjoys a loyal following for his gigs in the city.

Lowell Feuer, Chairman and CEO - KlikVU Inc

Lowell Feuer, Chairman and acting CEO: Chief Executive Officer was General Manager at Global Strategic Alliances, a boutique investment bank specializing in financial services; has founded consumer products companies and achieved rapid market penetration. He has worked in many international markets, and has experience in commercial contract negotiation. He has years’ experience in various aspects of finance, including investment banking, M&A and startup financing. He was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the Big Apple Film Festival.
